World Trade Center

As a rule I consider Oliver Stone a screwball but this movie is good. Very good. The movie focuses around the events as experienced by the two Port Authority cops that were rescued from the rubble. The story, if the movie is to be believed, is fascinating (and it is supposedly correct according to those that were there). It was very interesting watching two guys try to carry a movie with only their voice and dirt caked faces available to convey the story. Even so they do a marvelous job.

My only complaint is the movie title. The scope of the movie is too small for the title "World Trade Center". A movie with that name needed to be about so much more then the story of two individuals.

Don't miss this movie. It is one piece, like flight 93, that I think will have to reveal itself in a series of very different 9/11 movies to even scratch the surface of this event.
