This was a rather formulaic movie peppered with predictable Adam Sandler fare that many times takes away from the movie. It is not a completely bad movie just not what I consider a good movie. The plot line of the work obsessed husband/father who discovers he has missed something important has been done many times and better by other actors. There are too many moments where the movie takes a time-out from storytelling to slip in gratuitous cameo goofball moments which I found totally distracting. So much time is wasted that the ending almost seems rushed as though the director decided to finally make his point but was running out of time so he needed to toss out anything to bring the movie to a fast close.
Everything about this movie I have seen done better and funnier.
