If the press can insult Islam why can't others?
We unwashed masses have been fed a constant diet of outrage over insensitivity to Islam from the false Koran in a urinal story to racist soup to mocking Islam as a religion of peace. But when the press gets criticized for the same they close ranks in their mutual admiration support society.
Newspapers across Europe have reprinted caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad to show support for a Danish paper whose cartoons have sparked Muslim outrage.Don't misunderstand, I support the right to publish this kind of editorial mockery of Islam's hypocrisy but this freedom of speech should not be reserved for just the so-called "press".
Or at least be consistent and headline as shocking their burning and desecration of our symbols.
