Surveillance society gone wrong
You see them everywhere. They are watching you do the most mundane if activities such as driving and walking down the street. So shat happens when the voyeurs end up in charge of the equipment.
TWO council CCTV camera operators were jailed yesterday for spying on a woman in her bath.I was never really concerned about proper use of these cameras because they could provide a valuable community service. But can the humans in the equation be trusted not to use them for their own gain. She was filmed cuddling her boyfriend before undressing, using the toilet, having a bath and watching TV dressed only in a towel.
The pictures, which were displayed on a giant plasma screen in Liverpool’s Sefton Council CCTV control room, included full frontal and rear nudity.
